July 2026 Visits

  LDRP-ITR, Gandhinagar

71 students and 3 faculty members of Electronics and Communication Engineering Branch, semester 3 of LDRP-ITR College, Gandhinagar visited IPR on 3rd July 2026. As a part of academic visit, Mr. Gattu Ramesh Babu gave a presentation about Plasma, Tokamak and other plasma applications in addition to role of electronics engineers in IPR like research institutions.

Later, plasma based exhibits were demonstrated to these students and faculty by ORDians: Mr. Manu, Mr. Chetan, Ms. Harsha and Ms. Pratibha. The exhibits were made ready by Mr. Rahul and Mr. Akshay. Photography and Videography of the academic visit was done by Mr. Narendrasinh L. Chauhan. After the group picture, the visitors were introduced to SST1 tokamak hall by Mr. Gattu.

  Swaminarayan University, Kalol, Ahmedabad

38 Students and 2 faculty members of M.Sc. Sem. 3 and B.Sc. Sem.3 & 5 of Physics, Chemistry and Micro Biology Departments of Swaminarayan University, Kalol, Ahmedabad visited IPR on 14th July 2026 as a part of Academic visit. Mr. Gattu Ramesh Babu gave an introductory discussion on Plasma, Tokamak and other Societal benefits of Plasma. Mr. Manu, Ms. Harsha, Ms. Pratibha and Mr. Gattu demonstrated plasma based exhibits to the visitors at Outreach hall. Mr. Anand and Mr. Akshay supervised readiness of exhibits whereas Mr. Narendrasinh L. Chauhan with photography and videography of the visit. SST1 hall was handled by Mr. Gattu explaining the features of a superconducting tokamak to the visitors.

  LDRP-Institute of Technology and Research, Gandhinagar (Batch-1)

91 students with 2 faculty members of clas I/J division, 5th Semester, Information Technology Department, LDRP-Institute of Technology and Research, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidhyalaya, Gandhinagar visited IPR as a part of Academic visit on 15th July 2026. The students were given introductory talk on plasma, tokamak and othe societal applications by Mr. Manu Bajpai. Mr. Manu Bajpai, Mr. Gattu Ramesh Babu, Ms. Pratibha Gupta & Ms.Harsha Machchhar demonstrated plasma based exhibits at Outreach hall to the visitors. Mr. Anand Kumar and Mr. Akshay Khedkar prepared the hall and exhibits ready for this academic visit. Mr. Narendrasinh L. Chauhan incharged the photography and videography of the visit. The students and faculty visited SST1 hall and the features of SST1 were explained by Mr. Gattu.

90 students with 2 faculty members of clas J/K division, 5th Semester, Information Technology Department, LDRP-Institute of Technology and Research, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidhyalaya, Gandhinagar visited IPR as a part of Academic visit on 16th July 2026. The students were given introductory talk on plasma, tokamak and othe societal applications by Ms. Pratibha Gupta. Later, Mr. Chetan Jariwala, Mr. Gattu Ramesh Babu, Ms. Pratibha Gupta and Ms. Harsha Machchar demonstrated plasma based exhibits at Outreach hall. Mr. Anand Kumar and Mr. Akshay Khedkar prepared the hall and exhibits ready for this academic visit. Mr. Narendrasinh L. Chauhan incharged the photography and videography of the visit. The students and faculty visited SST1 hall and the features of SST1 were explained by Mr. Gattu.

  Gems Genesis International School, Ahmedabad

68 students of class 8 with 2 accompanying teachers of Gems Genesis International School, Ahmedabad attened Academic visit to IPR 0n 17th July 2026. The students were briefed with an introduction on Plasma, Tokamak and other societal benefits of plasma by Mr. Gattu. Later, plasma based exhibits at Outreach Hall were demonstred by Mr. Manu Bajpai and Mr. Gattu. Photography and Videography was supervised by Mr. Narendra and Mr. Anand. Readiness of exhibits is by Mr. Anand and Mr. Akshay. Features of a superconducting tokamak were explained to the visitors at SST1 hall by Mr. Gattu.

53 students of class 11 and 12 Science-A group with 6 faculty members of Apollo International School, Ahmedabad visited IPR on 22nd July 26 as a part of academic visit. Mr. Gattu Ramesh Babu introduced the visitors with concepts of plasma, examples and societal benefits of plasma research. Later, Ms. Pratibha Gupta, Mr. Narendra Chauhan and Mr. Gattu demonstrated plasma based exhibits at Outreach Hall. Mr. Narendrasinh L. Chauhan headed the photography and videography whereas Mr. Anand, Mr. Rahul and Mr. Akshay prepared the exihibits readiness.

  Tapovan International School, Mehasana

89 students of class 11th and 12th science stream with 5 faculty members of Tapovan International School, Mehsana visited IPR on 23rd July 26 as a part of Academic visit. Mr. Gattu Ramesh Babu introduced visitors with concepts of plasma, tokamak and other societal benefits of plasma. Mr. Anand and Mr. Akshay took responsibility of readiness of exhibits. Later, Mr. Chetan, Mr. Rahul, Mr. Narendra and Mr. Gattu demonstrated plasma based exhibits at Outreach Hall. The students and faculty visited SST1 Hall and Mr. Rahul explained the features of a tokamak. Photography and Videography were handled by Mr. Narendra.
